Meet Gretel! Gretel is a 7 month old female retriever mix. She loves to play in the water and splash around on hot days. Her favorite game is chasing tennis balls, though she has not mastered the "bring it back" part. She does great with other dogs but would prefer to enjoy her meals alone in her own space. She has come leaps and bounds since she came in and she is making more progress every day to be the best dog she can.
Gretel's adoption fee is just $25 now through May 15th as part of the nationwide Empty the Shelter adoption special sponsored by the Bissell Pet Foundation. It's the perfect time to adopt! Stop by HSSM's adoption center Tuesday-Friday between 10am-5pm or Saturday between 10am-4pm to meet her for yourself.
